July 2007 New Composites Facility - Rojac Tooling
Technologies.
 Rojac Tooling Technologies -
lead company of the eCluster have recently ordered a new 6.3 x
2.1Mtr Autoclave due for installation November 2007.
The new autoclave will be installed into a brand new composites
facility that will include a state of the art environmentally
controlled clean room facilities.
The new composites facility will enhance the services already
offered by Rojac in carbon composite prepreg tooling, low volume and
prototype parts.
To compliment the new composites facility Rojac are currently
working towards AS9100 which is the Aerospace Model for Quality
Assurance in Design, Development, Production, Installation and
Servicing. AS9100 was developed using ISO 9001, AS9000, and
EN9000-1, and builds upon their requirements to produce a
globally-harmonized standard that meets the requirements of
aerospace companies worldwide. The first standard available to use
across the global aerospace community, AS9100 adds the additional
requirements necessary to address both civil and military aviation
and aerospace needs.
